FairShift Privacy Agreement

Preamble: Youth Privacy Is Our Core Priority

FairShift is built exclusively to support youth sports coaches in delivering fair, transparent playing time for every young athlete on their roster. At every step of our product design, we prioritize privacy protection as a non-negotiable core value, especially given the involvement of minor athletes in the use cases our tool supports. This agreement outlines exactly what data we handle, how we handle it, and the full control you retain over all content you create within the FairShift app.

What Information We Never Collect Or Store

We design our system to avoid accessing or storing any user-generated content you create within the app entirely. All content you input or generate for your team management stays exclusively on your local device unless you actively choose to share it with third parties outside the app. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Team rosters, player details, and pre-agreed playing time commitments for individual athletes
• Custom rotation plans, position alignment rules, and real-time substitution adjustments you make during games
• Post-game playing time recaps, unmet playing time deficit records, and carry-over tracking for future matches
• Any notes, tags, or custom parameters you set for your team, sport, or individual game schedules

We do not upload, sync, store, or process any of this content on our servers at any point, eliminating all risk of this sensitive team and athlete information being accessed, shared, or leaked from our systems.

Limited Data Collected For Ad Optimization Only

The only data we receive is anonymous, non-personally identifiable information used exclusively to ensure our advertising reaches youth sports coaches who can benefit from FairShift's functionality. This data is never linked to any of the content you create within the app, and cannot be used to identify you or any members of your team. The limited data points we collect include:

• Anonymous device-level ad identifiers, which you can reset or disable at any time via your device system settings
• General app launch frequency and session duration, to understand overall product adoption trends
• App installation source, to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns

We never use this data for any purpose beyond advertising optimization, and we never sell, rent, or lease this data to any third parties for any reason.

Third-Party SDK Integration Specifications

To support our advertising efforts, we integrate two third-party software development kits (SDKs) into the FairShift app: Adjust and Facebook. These SDKs are only used for advertising attribution and delivery optimization, and adhere to strict privacy limitations as outlined below:

• Neither SDK has access to any user-generated content stored on your device, including your team rosters, rotation plans, or playing time records
• All data collected by these SDKs is anonymous and not tied to your individual app usage content
• We have strict data processing agreements in place with both providers that prohibit them from using any data collected from FairShift for any purpose beyond supporting our advertising campaigns

Minors' Privacy Protection Commitment

Given that FairShift is designed for use in youth sports contexts, we have taken extra steps to ensure we never handle any personally identifiable information related to minor athletes. Since all team and player information stays exclusively on your local device, we never receive, store, or process any names, contact details, or other personal information about underage users of your team. This eliminates all risk of minor athlete data being compromised through our systems.

Your Full Control Over Your Data

Because nearly all data related to your FairShift usage is stored locally on your device, you retain full, unrestricted control over your information at all times, without needing to submit requests to our team:

• You can delete all FairShift app data from your device at any time via your device settings, which permanently erases all your team rosters, rotation plans, and playing time records with no residual copies stored on our systems
• You can reset your device's advertising identifier or disable ad tracking entirely via your device system settings, which stops all collection of anonymous ad-related data from your device
• If you choose to share post-game recaps or rotation plans with parents, assistant coaches, or other third parties, you control exactly what content is shared and who it is shared with, with no data passing through our servers during the sharing process

Data Retention & Security Measures

For the limited anonymous ad-related data we collect, we retain this information for a maximum of 12 months, after which it is permanently and irreversibly anonymized so it can no longer be tied to any individual device. We use industry-standard end-to-end encryption for all data transmission related to our advertising tracking, and maintain strict access controls to ensure only authorized team members working on advertising optimization have access to this limited anonymous dataset.

Sharing Of Information: Your Choice Only

We never share any of your data with third parties except for the limited anonymous ad data shared with Adjust and Facebook as outlined earlier in this agreement. Any sharing of team or player information happens exclusively at your discretion, using your device's native sharing functionality, with no intermediation from our systems. We have no ability to access, view, or intercept content you choose to share with others outside the app.

Updates To This Privacy Agreement

We may update this privacy agreement periodically to reflect changes to our product functionality or privacy practices. When we make material updates, we will notify you via an in-app notification the next time you launch FairShift. Your continued use of the app after the updated agreement takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you may cease use of the app and delete all your data from your device at any time.
